Scored on .22LR ammo yesterday!

I've been trying to get my hands on some .22LR ammo lately, no luck at any local stores. Went to a garage sale yesterday and snagged 500 rounds for $10. Later I traded 50 rounds 9mm ball ammo for 200 rounds of 22LR and $10.

So in all, I traded 50 rounds 9mm ball for 700 rounds 22LR. A great day in my book!

That's cool. I personally haven't seen any .22LR or 9mm in months now. All I see are mostly empty shelves with some shotgun shells, 7mm, and .270 scattered around. A grim situation indeed.

I see .40, .45, .38 sp, LOTS of .30-06 and other rifle ammo (no .223 or 7.62 tho). Shotgun stuff is low, can't find 00 buck but most everything else can be had.

9mm I see pretty rarely, haven't seen a brick of .22LR on a shelf since the buying craze started.

We got plenty of 00 magnum here. We also have a half full shelf (800-1000 rds?) of 9mm and 45 ball. Nothing american though. And like 3 aisles of bird shot. Even the 45 lc is all gone. My Judge is hungry.

We got in 4 boxes of 525 .22LR today. All are already sold/promised. 9mm we keep in stock. As does the other gun shop I'm in quite often. 3rd one I haven't been in in about 2 months so can't say.
