School Shooting in Tennessee That National Media Did Not Report

The following incident happened at a high school only minutes from my home in East Tennessee. I am sure that no one outside of our immediate region has ever heard the story, because the only person who was shot-and killed-was the gunman. These types of stories don’t fit the narrative of those who want “gun-free zones” and so are ignored by the national media. In this case an armed Security Resource Officer, Carolyn Gudger, became a local hero and saved an unknown number of lives by holding the gunman at bay until backup arrived. The text below is drawn from a local news website, Tricities.com. The story is not viewable on mobile devices, probably because it is so old. If you wish to view it on your PC.

I know the article is 2 years old but I still cannot imagine the schools officer drawing her gun and them trying t talk the man into dropping his gun. If he was pointing his gun at her at any point she should have fired. Luckily her backup arrived and took care of the problem.

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the law breaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is responsible for his actions....Ronald Reagan

Theres other videos of the SRO and the gunmen standing off, its accompanied by the police call by School staff. The SRO more less walked into the situation and drew her firearm while his was pointing at her, there appeared to be some exchanging of words before you see SWAT enter the school. The gunmen kept trying to walk away from the SRO and go down hallways but for some reason couldnt, most of it all took place in front of the office area.
