My pet peeve is this: If so many people across this Great Nation are doing necessary things to avoid the asinine regulation that made schools "gun-free" killing fields, why are our Legislators not doing anything to strike out this illegal and asinine regulation? Everyone of them should be marked as traitors, and tried for treason, for violating their oath to protect and defend the Constitution against domestic enemies.

Want to hear something totally crazy? In Oregon, school districts are allowed to make/enforce rule to disarm teachers/employees as a 'condition of employment'. However, the legislature will not allow these same districts to make rules that prohibit lawfully permitted CHL from carrying in the same schools. Put another way, If I go have lunch with my wife (who is a teacher), I can have a gun on school grounds but she cannot.

Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with having the RIGHT to carry in a school, but who on God's Green Earth thought it a good idea to bar employees? To the crazies out there, gun free zone=shooting fish in a barrel!

I was thinking that Oregon passed laws along with Utah to allow teachers and students to carry on campus. Maybe not though.
