SCCY info

A coworker just purchased a 9 mm built by SCCY. I had not heard of them before, anyone here have any experience with them?

I've only read that they have had some issues, failure to cycle, extract. I don't think they ever had much of a following, I would personally stick with Kel-tec

I have the original CPX-1. I've had 2 recoil springs fail, the front retainer broke off twice, now a new design. And the ejector rod broke off. I've also put well over 3,000 rounds through it. Each time SCCY sent out the parts with no problem. The only other problems were ammo issues. For pretty much the same price I would rather get a Ruger LC9.

The CPX 2 is a better design, it no longer has a manual safety. As long as brass casing is used, no problem with ejecting or FTF. It's lightweight and compact, I use it as an EDC.
