scary news to me

being i've not been in shooting ranges much at all and now that i'm trying to get to them more often to sharpen my firearm skills i've come to learn that some folks actually intentionally shot themselves to commit suicide in some of the ranges in florida
i was told at one range at least four people intentionally killed themselves and the range i just went to an instructor told me that just a few weeks ago a guy came in and waited till the range was empty of shooters and then shot himself dead there he said they guy at least had the decency to shoot downrange so the bullet wouldn't hit anyone if it had been pointed in another direction other than downrange .....scary to me because i certainly don't want to be in a range with some deranged suicidal person who may not care who is nearby when they pull a trigger to end their life
anyone else heard of such stories??

Sadly it happens every now and then. All you can do is maintain awareness and frequent ranges that do their best to run a safe facility.

yes but that don't count those who may have used their own gun....... either way wow what a sad and tragic bit of info i had come to realize just recently

Ive heard about this happening many times at different ranges. Im glad I don`t shoot at any ranges, I shoot in the forest were there is no one around were I shoot.

I tend to look at it from the opposite perspective. How many people go to the range everyday with no intent to commit suicide? I think the odds are on your side.

wow how sad pafindr trajic story but why would the father want the range to pay wasn't the ranges fault or responsibility?? that's absurd he was the one prolly drove her to be a suicidal maniac in the first place
