I tried, but at about the halfway point I stopped it. Bored to tears...
Yes our founding fathers thought it was important that we be able to arm ourselves. Hence The Bill of Rights.
The first thing we have is the right to say what we feel. Be it right wrong or indifferent, we have the right to speak it or write it. The next thing we have the right to do is protect ourselves from those who would harm us or silence us by force if they were opposed to the ideas we spoke of.
There is no utopia, There are individuals who would pray on, or rule over others if unopposed by force. This country was created to allow any man/woman to be free and have some control over their well being.

Helen Thomas needs a brain transplant. Murder incorporated? That's what they think of us? They won't be happy until everyone is disarmed, and at the mercy of every thug, thief, gangsta, and politician.(Sorry that was redundant) And I won't be happy until we get back to the original Constitution. We need to find a nice island for these people if they no longer want to be American's following the Constitutional America I grew up in, they can get the hell out! :bad:

I have been very reluctant to say this, especially on a public forum, but I think that the time has come for me to be honest with myself, and thus, with you:
I see a time in the near future when the divide will be so great that we will, literally, have to split the union. :cray:

I've been feeling the same myself. We have had a civil war in this country before.:biggrin: A group of states that got sick and tired of being told what to do and how to do by the federal government decided to say enough!
Yes I know that slavery was the argument that divided this nation in that case. No man or woman born to man and woman should be owned or ruled over as if they were property. NO ONE!!!
The socialist liberal agenda is akin to that very thing. Being led forcibly as if we were sheep. Being ruled over as if we were subjects. It's good for all so you like it too...
Perhaps we need to unleash that anarchy? I'm a rational free thinking individual who is capable of great compassion and kindness, but when provoked by talk of rights infringement. No I will not yield...
Now, with all that out of the way... Let's discuss the Brady Visionary award prize package...
