City Attorney Tells San Bernardino Residents To ?Lock Their Doors,? ?Load Their Guns? Because Of Police Downsizing « CBS Los Angeles

The typical cuts. They always cut police and fire departments. They can never cut other staff. Like the City Manager and his staff. (I have ALWAYS thought that was why a Mayor was elected to do.) I know there should be other areas that could be cut but they NEVER try to downsize. They always want to raise taxes!!!!

They always cut public safety. Punish the taxpayers because they won't vote for higher taxes. Don't see them cutting social programs or public works. In my county they continue to cut jail space. Last week they did another release and one of the inmates was arrested within an hour for robbing a bank. Makes me really feel safe.

I thought that was in Jo County... Regardless, keep your doors locked and your guns loaded, for sure.

Seems the residents can now carry weapons on the order of the police chief.
