I was there. Amazed at the turn out, we had to park so far away because the streets were packed. Never been to a rally/protest before but I look forward to going to more in the future.

Yes it was a good turnout. I'd estimate around 1500. Great speakers too.

I think the rallies get some attention from the politicians. The two in Albany did, and I'll bet they take notice of the one in Syracuse too. Today's Newsday has an article saying that Dean Skelos, New York senate, is saying that the magazine ban is about to be "indefinitely postponed." Unfortunately, I couldn't copy a link to it.
