Hey everyone,
New to the forum and sort of new to guns. I went to boot and AIT in 1987-88 at Ft Mclellan Al. As an MP.
Switched to transportation in early 1990 and then went to Desert Storm. While my kids were young my wife did not want guns around. So now I am getting back into shooting.
Mostly due to money being tight I bought a Ruger 9E last year.
I just recently (without wife knowing) bought a used M&P 45. What I did not know until yesterday when I went onling looking for a holster is that the model I bought has a compact barrel with a full size grip.
In RI I have to qualify with the largest caliber I want to carry. So I went looking for a 45.
How much less accuracy is a 4" barrel vs a 4.5" or bigger 45? Is it simply practice? I will have to get a score of 195 with 30 rounds at 25 yards.
Thanks
Shawn
