rules for carrying airguns in flight

hello everybody

need some info about carrying airguns via flight to other countries from USA.
i m interested in rws 34 striker combo sold @ Pyramid air.
my friend is coming from USA to India next week,can he carry the gun,if yes then what r the requirements for carrying such spring piston air guns?
