Ruger SR22 Availability Issues?

Is anybody else having availability issues getting a Ruger SR22 pistol? My local gun shop has had 2 on order for 8 weeks now and still cannot get them in. Anybody else having this issue?

I saw 2 today in Clackamas OR at the gun broker.

It's not just the SR22 its all popular models. I spent all night looking for a SR1911. I gave up and ordered a Remington 1911 Enhanced. Before it came in Gander Mountain got 15 in so I did the sensible thing and ordered a Ruger too (my wife doesn't know so shhh!). Anyway every since then I have noticed several places not having 10/22's and Mark III pistols as well as others.

I'm #9 on the waiting list for one of the forty SR 22's my gun shop has ordered.

Ruger, as well as other manufacturers; have a back log of orders and recently announced that they were not accepting any new orders from distributors so they could catch up. I have a SR22 on order as well......it might be awhile for all of us.

I had no problem getting both the sr1911 or the sr22 love them both
