What minor adjustment did you do? I just bought one (literally like an hour ago) and LOVE the fee of it compared to any other 1911 I've held. Seems no different quality from a Kimber. I just noticed that the grip safety rattles a bit and doesn't seem to have a very stiff spring on it compared to what I'm used to.Have been very happy with mine. Grip safety rattles a little but a minor adjustment to the Sear Spring will take care of that.
It is basically making a gentle bend in the sear spring. Take a look atWhat minor adjustment did you do? I'll give it a try tomorrow. Thanks for the video. It is basically making a gentle bend in the sear spring. Take a look at. Or find a qualified gunsmith. Regardless, do a little at a time and TEST TEST TEST. Hope that helps.
I just prefer the thinner grips since that's what I got use to with my Taurus, and I'm also a thinner person so when I concealed carry I like my guns to be as concealable as possible. I held it up next to my Taurus and the grips are HUGE compared to it.Link RemovedI have small hands and I find the grips to be great.
I added some Pierce grips and its Excellent.

I just got the CMD. What a beautiful gun. A real pleasure to shoot.
I put on a set of Hogue wraparounds in black, like the contrast of
black with the stainless.
