Ruger mini 14 580 flash hider

Hello! I didn't find a thread for this so figured I'd start a new one. I will be acquiring a Ruger mini 14 ranch rifle, 580 series with the new heavier barrel, in the next week or so, and based on past experience with muzzle flash, want a flash hider. I was looking for one that pinned over the original sight, but can't find a nice one. I also looked at the Choate and the mo-reaper. The Mo is a bit expensive and is mainly a muzzle brake, and the Choate needs drilling. I'm leaning toward the Choate. So, anyone with any other recommendations?
