Ruger LCR

Does anybody else own and carry an LCR? I tried a search and got no hits. I owned one a few years ago and sold it. Now, I have the 357 Magnum version.

It's a great little carry piece. Accurate and concealable. I picked it up on the 1st and put 120 rounds through it. Recoil is very manageable with 357 ammo. I am carrying with Speer Gold Dot short barrels in it. Ruger put a relief in the Tamer grip so that speedloaders work. On my first LCR I sanded a relief myself.

Got a DeSantis Nemesis for pocket carry and found a Bianchi OWB in the bargain bin at the LGS. It's actually for a S&W J frame but works well. I think I'll get a Mernickle OWB as well. I also plan to try wood grips from Eagle. They may be a bear to shoot with but I saw a picture of them and :man_in_love:.

have the .357 model. Carry it when I don't carry my Kahr PM9, Keep it loaded with 125 gr JHP +P of different manufacture. Shoots great and recoil is not bad at all.

I've had the .38 for a couple months. I love it. It's a great pocket carry. I'm impressed with the quality and look. I became very accurate with it after less than 30 rounds.

I have it in the 357 - great carry gun. Wouldn't want to shoot it all day at the range due to the recoil but it would get the job done quickly if you needed it.

I have it in 38. I carry it in a pocket holster or OWB Fobus under a shirt. Very comfortable to carry and easy to shoot.

In colder weather I carry a glock 30 IWB or OWB under a jacket. I just like the higher capacity and larger round whether that is a valid reason or not.

But in warmer weather the LCR is my best friend. Not hard to forget you have it on you.

I have one in 357. Only shoot 38's out of though. I am a puss. Carry mine in a Remora iwb or a jit slide owb.
I have the crimson trace grips so I usually use it when I go out at night.

I have the LCR357. I shot it Monday and now have over 3000 rounds through it. Most of the rounds have been 357 but I do shoot 38+P sometimes. I put the XS Night Sight on it and carry it daily. Some days it is the main carry gun with 442 Smith as back up and some days the LCR backs up my SP101. I carry Corbon 357 DPX in it.

Xs night sights completely changes the shooting quality of the gun. Night and day. Best upgrade you could put on there for around 50$ and it can easily be a DIY job or will take the gunsmith 5 min of his time.

I can see the XS sight without glasses. At night you can see it laying on the Nightstand from across the room. It makes sighting in at the Range very easy.
