Ruger LCP vs. Taurus TCP 738

Deciding between the two of these. I like that the slide locks open after the last shot on the Taurus. Looking for input from someone that has shot both.

Just picked up the LCP at the end of the year and I can't wait to shoot it, great feel in my hands and pocket and add the Pocket holster and your set. Best 280 I spent in a long time

I have owned, and shot, both. I strongly recommend against the Taurus because of the short stroke trigger problem. It is, BTW, not uncommon to short stroke a trigger under stress (competition or self-defense). With the Taurus you're screwed if you do that, because you now have to manually cycle the slide and you loose on of your few rounds. See video:

Also the magazine kept getting released accidentally in the Taurus. A problem I've not experienced with the Ruger.
