Just recently got back into guns after being away for over 20 years. Served in the IDF where I was taught to respect guns. This training is STILL ingrained into every fiber of my being. Decided after the latest shooting in Aurora, CO (my usual movie theater) and thinking about how that coul have been me there at the time. If I had not been signed up to watch the premier somewhere else, I probably would have been there during the attck and not be able to defend myself. So I did a lot of research and decided to go with the LC9 because I can literally put it in my pocket and forget it is there unless there's a time that I will need to use it. Already took the CCW course and will be taking in the paperwork to my local sheriff to get my permit next week. Since buying my LC9, brand new, I've talked several times to one of my best friends who lives in MA. A true believer in the 2nd amendment and the ability to protect his family, I picked up on some really good advice on how to proceed, what accesorries (sp?) to buy and much more. I've visited my local gun range, reaquainted myself on the firing range and am learning the traits of my firearm. I'm hapy to say that I even joined the club yesterday! I'm happier then I have been in quite some time and I look forward to any other advice I can get. Stay safe and make sure to vote Obummer out of office. If you are unsure about the election - go watch 2016. It will open your eyes like no one else can.
