Ruger LC9

Has anyone heard about manufacturing issues with the Ruger LC9. A buddy told me some non-specific news but really didn't eleborate. wanting to know if this is just a rumor or if there are actual known issues.

It would be nice to list out what those problems are that your friend spoke of. I believe there was an issue with the first run that required a recall, but nothing new. There has been issues with some ammo in some guns, but that's not uncommon with semi-autos that can light strike primers or be limp wristed when fired. I have one and have run 500+ round of ammo through it without a problem.

That's the thing he didn't know what was being said that was wrong. It may have been the recall on the first run that you speak of Purple and he just got around to hearing about it. Thanks SR40c will check that forum and see what i can find out. Thanks for the replies. Appreciate it.
