Ruger LC9 for My Birthday!

So after buying my wife a Marlin 795 for her birthday, I guess she got the bug. I hadn't planned on doing anything for my birthday yesterday, but when my wife got home from work, she asked "you want to go to Cabela's tonight?" Well, I'm certainly not going to pass that opportunity up. So we drive the hour down to the Owatonna store, and when we get there, she takes me over to the service desk where my in laws had left a birthday and gift card for me. Pretty sweet. So we head over to the firearms and I notice she's looking at the mail ad we got a couple weeks ago. She stops, and says "how about you go get one of those", pointing at the LC9 I've had my eye on for quite a while.

Long story short, I've got a new carry gun in my pocket. Can't wait to get to the range next week and put it through its paces.

Sounds like you're one lucky man! Enjoy having a wife who loves shooting with you, I've been trying to get my significant other to shoot with me for a while but for some reason she's terrified of the idea. Hopefully in time.
