Rock Island Armory 22 TCM

I recently purchased a Rock Island Armory 22 TCM and I am very impressed by it. I would like to hear people's opinions about this new gun and round. For those of you that have not heard this caliber, Rock Island Armory took a 223 rifle round and shrunk it down to fire from a double stack 1911 platform. The end result is 17 rounds of 40 grain bullets achieving 2000 FPS from a 5 inch barrel. As a bonus it also comes with a 9mm barrel and recoil spring. Just switch them out to convert to a double stack 9mm using the same magazine.

I have shot one that a member brought to a Texas Gun Forum "meet and shoot" and it was quite nice. Little more recoil than my 1911-22 and fun to shoot.

I saw a couple of weeks ago that they are coming out with a bolt action rifle in July. I don't know any details yet.
