Rifle Laser good for outdoor plinking?

What type of laser would be good for out doors plinking? I have Crimson Trace on some of my hand guns, and they do show up pretty good at short distances. Have a cheap laser on my 9mm HI_POINT and it works great in side, but out it just disapears. Is green best for out side?

All the "experts" claim that green is the best laser. You can pick up some cheap green lasers on the net that will work great for what you want. If this was for some kind of tactical rifle I would spend the money on a lasermax green laser. Check out www.cheaperthandirt.com they have a few green lasers that have reviews read a few of them see if that will work for you.
