Resist is all I can say.

Even in the events of Newtown, we can see the Media is having the biggest frenzy since cottage cheese. The media has twisted this story to the likes we couldnt have believed before hand. Sadly, its to the point where Guns are again feared more so than ever. CPL holders are looked upon as dangerous individuals.
Quick story before I make it to my point, but, I OCd today, well, in a Blackhawk holster as I went into a gas station to pay for gas on the way to my brothers house for a Christmas gathering. A woman who was standing behind me kepy whispering to her husband, and finally poked me on the shoulder and asked me why I carried a gun. I simply told her it was my right, and it was for defense...She of course talked about what she hopes comes in the up coming weapons ban, saying she hopes OC and CC was pretty much outlawed. She said she believes weapons should only be used inside a home for self defense, everything else, we should call the Police...I told her (as the person in front of me was playing the daily lotto taking forever) if guns were allowed in schools, the Newtown massacre wouldnt have happened, or been as bad. She of course took offense and told me she felt uncomfortable with me OCing my gun. I told her if she had an issue, she could call the Police, but until then, Id appreciate it if she left me along...Her Husband just told her to stay quiet and that I was right. I payed for my gas and left.
Just one example, and before the whole Newtown event, I had never been bothered, never been questioned, maybe its chance it happened today, maybe not.
Why ban "High capacity" magazines for pistols, why ban AR's or any kind of weapons? What good does banning a few do? The same effect could happen with a 6 shooter as it could with any kind of gun. It takes on average 90 minutes to enter a school during/after a shooting, mostly due to setting a perimeter, calling together a S.W.A.T team, or organizing a general layout of a building. Meanwhile, a massacre is ongoing inside a school, college, or campus dorm. Carrying in a pistol free zone saves lives. Why does the Government not get that? Why dont left wingers understand "Shall not be infringed?"

I was once told by a LEO "the law is the law, no matter how you interpret it" if thats true, how is a Constitutional right/law have so many variations and interpretations? I dont understand...All I can say is resist, refuse and protest. WHEN the ban/confiscation happens, stand your ground. Rights should not be trampled for a few, pardon, but retards acts. You earned your right, were given the right and shall not give up your right to keep and bear any arm you so choose. No person should or can be told how to defend himself, his home, or someday, his country. Banning any form of weapon only weakens us, pushes us further into the depths of Government control.
I feel for the families of Newtown, I do, but even in the light of the recent massacre, I feel we shall not be trampled, I feel no new law should be created, except in the areas of Mental illness. When will they stop blaming the guns, and get to the root of the problem?

All I can say, if you give up 1 right, you might as well relinquish the rest because you have already lost. Im not saying Civil War, and Im not saying start riots. Im saying stand up for your right. Shall not be infringed.....

An answer to one of your questions is this... Liberals and antis are hypocrites. That is why they do not understand the meaning of "Shall not be infringed". They feel that the Constitution only applies to them in cases they agree with. While things are said and or done that I do not agree with, I also understand why outlawing or banning something because of how I feel about it is "unconstitutional". I'm guessing you and "most" of the others on this site feel the same way. What really gets me is after a tragedy like Newtown happens, most people, and I do mean "most" people stand around and whine; "Why is this happening?" To those who ask this question, I have an answer...

Look in the mirror. Look at what has been happening in this country the last 50-60 years. The same people who cry; "It's Ok to be gay" or "Remove that cross" or "My vote doesn't count" are the same ones who ask; "Why does this happen?" The same people, Progressive Liberals, the apathetic, and the propagandists (the media) will all tell how much better things are today than 60 years ago. They tell you this in conversations about things when they appear to be going their way. Then something like Columbine and Newtown happens and they are totally off the deep end. Their brain cramps up and they blame everyone and or everything but themselves. The truth is, things are not getting better, they are getting worse, and look who has done the damage.

Good post by the way...

Follow this link and you will see a collection of leaders and their countries that and have successfully implemented gun control: Gun Control WORKS!! on Twitpic if the link does not work, please copy and paste it into your browser.
Finally, you already know the outcome of their actions and how their countries(citizens) fared after the implementation.

I apologize if this post seems to be a rant. Ive never heard or seen of a weapons ban, in any form ever work for the public. I have seen statistics (a video on youtube which i can post on here if you all would like) that had shown in Australia crime had gone up on average 53% after they banned weapons in their country. Gun related violence went up 41% Home invasions went up 43%. I just wish our libtard politicians understood.

Let us not forget that in the name of "choice", they also KILL THEIR CHILDREN BEFORE THEY ARE BORN!!

When someone asks me why I carry I just tell them because it's my right and that I won't be a victim, and leave it at that.
