Remington 870P?

Hello Everyone!

I'm thinking about purchasing a new Remingtion 870P, 18" barrel, 4+1 capacity, black synthetic stocks.

I'd add the extension to increase it's capacity but was wondering if anyone knows if the 870P has the magazine dimples that need to be removed?

Also, what extension for the 18" barrel do you recommend?

Mine did. Don't know about current production runs as I purchased mine several years ago. 5 minutes with the dremel and you should be good to go.

I have several of the Advanced Technologies Mag Extensions and really like them.

You can pull your mag cap off and then use a screwdriver to push down and then turn the spring retainer until it slides up and out. Push shells up the tube from the feed ramp area and see if the shells pass without obstruction out the open end of the mag tube. If they do not, then ss BigSlick stated, the dimples can be dremeled out. Just be cautious and don't remove more material than you need.
