Remington 1911

Got a chance to purchase a new Remington 1911 at a good price, but I don't know Remington's reputation in the 1911 category. Anyone have some insight about it?

I've had mine for over a year. Shoot it regularly & it is very accurate.
Carry it daily when the weather permits. Conceals well except in hot weather.
I love it, & for the $$$ it was a good choice for me.
