I am trying to find out all information regarding the specifications for Unique Powder, and CLAYS. I will need to reload several shells but for now: .45ACP 185gr lead head. I need length,, and also f how much powder of each brand and also for my .40 S&W with a 180gr TCFM #143 Jacketed lead. NEED TO KNOW Powder grains of each and size of full length shell. Best would be to lead me to a site with a chart.. Thanks.. wkira1ataoldotcom.

Go to the Hodgdon site, or any of the many reloading sites. Just do a google search for reloading specs, and the calibers you want. More info out there than you can absorb.

I would recommend you purchase the Lyman Pistol & Revolver Handbook, and the Lyman Reloading Handbook. Lyman also has a cast bullet specific manual available. Lyman publishes reliable manuals that are more generic than the bullet producers such as Hornady, Sierra, Speer, in addition to the Reloading Pages of M.D. Smith, (Reloading Pages of M.D. Smith). The online M.D. Smith manual omits some critical data such as O.A.L.

You don't want specifications or recipes, you want load data. Load data comes from manuals and powder manufacturer's web sites. Buy several manuals. Read them.

I just started reloading my .45 ACP using 185gr LSWC, VhitaVouri N320 at 4.5gr, Remington #2 primers, and my OAL is around 1.24"

I got the starting powder charge from the VhitaVouri data sheet for a 200gr LSWC and reduced it down 10% and since I am shooting Bullseye took the powder charge down .2 gr from there. Will be going with a lower charge once I replace the original recoil spring with something like a 11 or 12 pounds. Then I'll take the powder charge down to around 3.5 or 3.7 grains.
