Reloading Newbie Here—What’s the Real Cost Advantage?

I'm new to reloading and trying to decide if it’s really the best way to cut down on ammo costs. I’d like to know more about the real-world benefits from those who have been reloading for a while.
For those who reload: How much time do you spend on reloading, and is it worth it to you?

There are several good reasons to reload. I have been reloading for about 30 years now. Originally I got into reloading for the real world cost savings that reloading afforded. Sadly the cost of reloading is rising so fast now I'm not sure if that cost savings would be as much of a benefit. But if you want to have the experience of shooting premium and accurate ammo at non premium prices then by all means, go ahead and start. My favorite benefit of reloading is that my reloads are almost universally more accurate than factory ammo. I turned my WW2 era Arisaka rifle into a sub MOA shooter just by tailoring my reloads. If you are a patient and detail oriented person, I would say there are no downsides to reloading.
