Ummm... I noticed when reading about it that there was an issue about who the bad guys were supposed to be. They changed it from the Chinese to the North Koreans. I have to say that makes me laugh.

The cost to make the movie politically correct in an effort to appease the United States’ key money lender came to a reported $1 million".
If they really wanted to make it interesting, they should have selected the real bad guys. The United States Government. After all, they really are the biggest threat we have right now.
The Political Correctness issue is just more proof that the media in general is totally in bed with the Socialists running the country and more than happy to assist in selling us all down the river.

That would make for an interesting movie. Or a book even.
Or someone could create a work of fiction about how Communists infiltrate the US Government by getting a sleeper agent elected. The sleeper is almost detected due to some sloppy forgery, but manages to spin his way out of the situation. He eventually gets impeached when he attempts to cover up the fact that the ATF has been giving guns to the Mexican drug cartels.
Too bad that's all fiction, I liked the ending.
Maybe not the premier, but I *will* be seeing this movie.

Hollywood didn't make this one. That's why it's gonna be good. Unfortunately it's also why it took so long to get it into theaters.

I can remember watching the original back in the '80s. The Cold War was going on, and I was either stationed at Eglin AFB in Florida or on special duty as an instructor at Lackland.
I remember getting pumped up watching it, like watching a "Rocky" movie.
Man I was gung ho back then!
