Recommended safe for truck

I have found Console Vault and Lock're Down. I drive a 2013 Ford F150.

I do not have a concealed carry license yet, but plan to take the required training soon.

Any recommendation?

This is what I have also for my 2011 dodge ram and love it, so if I go somewhere that don't allow gun like the post office I storage it in their until I come back. I also have a viper alarm that will let me know by paging me so for the time I leave it their I'm not worry.

I have the console vault in my 2005 Dodge. Fits well and there is still room for the extra crap we all carry.

Is there any real difference between Lock're Down and Console Vault? They seem to be the exact same thing, except for a potentially higher security key.

I don't know but I'm sure that they are pretty good also, I'm going to get the gun transporter from them because I'm planning on travel and I like what they have. It's America made which is what I like.

The ShotLock 1911 is only 11.375” x 7.5” x 2.375”. I have a leather carrying case for my old IBM ThinkPad that the ShotLock 1911 fits perfectly in so the neighbors don't see me taking a mini-safe out to my truck.
