A Wisconsin resident must have a Wisconsin concealed carry license in order to carry in Wisconsin, even if that individual holds a valid concealed carry license from another state.
 
I have a son in Wisconsin that has a C/C permit there, and I visited him awhile back with a PA. permit. I noticed how many people up there open carry. Nobody seems to pay any attention to it. Where I live, we have O/C also, but few rarely do it. Upsets many people here.

Sounds like the people, in general, are more sensible in Wisconsin than where you live.
