Congrats sir! I have had mine for a year now today! Just remember to not escalate any situation and that "should" keep u from having to use deadly force.
I've had one time I was driving home from work and had a guy follow me into my driveway and he thought I had flipped him the bird earlier that day! I said "I never flipped you off sir, get out of my driveway." he proceeded to get out of his car and I proceeded to as well only I had my cp tucked under my leg (i was still new to it, i always keep it on my body now) so he stopped as I was concealing my pistol to my waistband. He quickly got back into his car and took off as fast as he could.
Just the sight of it stopped him right in his tracks. I never even had to pull it out of the holster and it was not brandishing because you are allowed to conceal your weapon! I never flipped him the bird either so I don't know what his problem was.

Always be on your toes. Don't play cop. Act like you don't have it until u need it. Always know your state laws and others u travel to. If you don't know where to look check out handgunlaw.us
They are accurate as far as my state goes. I also have a firearm lawbook the Sheriff dept. gives out for free. (in Michigan anyway). Be smart and safe! Always practice.

I go for my class later this month and will apply for a Utah nonresident. I live in IL sad I will be legal to carry in so many states but the one I live in. Congratulatons on your CCP

Thanks
