Recall Governors who attack 2nd Amendment

Liberal governors such as Cuomo in NY are using the CT tragedy to grand stand for political reasons to restrict our 2nd amendment rights. They are clearly ignoring facts relating to violence in their states such as the fact that the abuse of alcohol results in more death and injury than death and injury due to violence committed with guns. Cuomo and other governors and many other politicians also ignore the need to provide security for schools while they spend untold billions protecting state and federal facilities. It is highly unlikely that Cuomo (and Obama of course) etal will listen to reason and embrace a real debate on the issues.

THEREFORE, why not begin efforts to "recall" Cuomo and other politicians who propose violating 2nd amendment rights!! Impeachment on the grounds of violating the constitution should also be considered.

I know call me crazy or naive but unions forced an expensive recall election in Wisconsin, so why can't people who believe in the 2nd Amendment mount even larger recall/impeachment campaigns!!

I have to wonder about people like Cuomo and if they are NWO/communist plants designed to subvert us and our constitution.

Looks like we are screwed again in NY. Apparently the next opportunity for a constitutional convention is not until 2017 unless the legislature calls for one which it will NOT do.

The New York State Constitution provides for the election of Senators and Assembly Members (Article III, Section 2), Governor and Lieutenant Governor (Article IV, Section 1), Comptroller and Attorney General (Article V, Section 1), and Supreme Court Justices, (Article VI, Section 6).

However, removal of elected state officials by recall is not contained within the New York State Constitution or any New York State law.

A constitutional amendment is necessary to authorize the use of recall in New York State for all statewide elected officers, Senators, Assembly Members, and Supreme Court Justices.

Great idea. Anyone who thinks reducing the 10-round mag limit to 7-rounds will reduce crime is dreaming. Cuomo has the overwhelming majority of NYC and Albany in his pocket. That's enough liberals to ruin an entire country. The GOP controlled Senate will not accept more gun control.

Hope you are right about the Senate; however, don't forget that Bloomberg successfully offered "campaign" $$$s to legislature's to vote in favor of gay marriage. One Republican legislator in Western NY had stated in his campaigned that he did not support gay marriage but then switched to vote for it. Of course Cuomo supported him in his next successful campaign and I assume he benefited from Bloomberg's bribes!!!

.

What is not giving me a warm and fuzzy feeling is that the Republicans jointly control the Senate with a small faction of Democrats.

Reading ===> S805-2013 - NY Senate Open Legislation - Provides for the registration of firearms by the owner thereof at the county clerks office of the county where the owner resides, except in New York City - New York State Senate really points out just how deluded these liberal politicians are.
