All. My better half picked me up a New Kimber Ultra Carry II. I have just received my Florida CCW and returned from Afghanistan for R&R. We spent the entire vacation in the Destin, Fl area. I went to Shoal River Clays and Shooting Center near Crestview, Fl twice during the 2 week leave. Finally settled on the Winchester 230 gr. SXZ45P. The weapon performed flawlessly. I was a little squirrely, having never shot a compact .45. Always a 5" barrel before. The felt recoil of the Ultra Carry II was amazingly light. The wife even enjoyed her 2 shots..(2 ring hits by the way). The range was minimalist, but for 16 bucks all day it fit the bill perfectly. The satff was great and besides it being very hot out, I would recommned to all. I always enjoy outdoor shooting as opposed to indoor. 23 years in the Army has probably contributed to that.The Ultra Carry II is the PERFECT Carry wepoan. I just had a Cheapo Bass Pro IWB Holster (will get serious one when I return from Deployment) and no one in my group EVER saw a hint of the pistol printing. Even with the Kim Pro TACMAG with extensions. I am considering the Belster from Bandera Leather Works in Bandera, TX. Will post again as necessary. Here are some PICS..
