Any of you guys race or into cars?
I used to drag race nearly every weekend. Been to busy lately and traveling to various tracks is getting expensive.

I used to be in a couple car clubs - Volksport and MN Audi. Mostly just hung out and shot the breeze, but there was a small percentage that was really into various forms of racing. Mostly autocross, but also wheel to wheel, rally and a little bit of drag racing. I quit because I just didn't have that kind of time anymore.

Unfortunately yes 7 days a week. Really gets in the way of my shooting

Not an active participant but I love to go to the drag races or watch on TV. I hit the Gator Nationals just about every year. Awesome. Going into the pits and standing just a few feet away from a roaring 8,000 hp engine is amazing. Ear protection is an absolute must!

I love going to shows with 2 special edition Mustangs owned by family. I am in the market not only for a new gun but a Mustang of my own. Love to get some track time with them and the usual highway pulls... But no formal racing.

Take my... er... used to take my 97 Cobra to the track. Intake/ exhaust/ gears and slicks and nitrous. Broke the transmission last time out having a little fun with a buddy, and the car is on jack stands until I can spring for a tranny rebuild kit and clutch.

Best 1/8 mile 8.0 at 91 MPH.
