Question on Connecticut Concealed Carry Permit

I have a few questions about the Ct Concealed Carry Permit.

1. I got my permit in the mid 80's. I believe I was 18. When did it change to 21?

2. What year did CT start with the Concealed Carry Permit?

This question is flawed on a few fronts.

a) CT's Carry permit has always been 21+
b) CT's Carry permit is not a "concealed" carry permit. There is no mandate to carry concealed in the CT statues. It is simply a carry permit. your prefered method of carry is however you feel comfortable.

no way dude,i got mine in 1974 when i was 18,the law changed to 21 when Wicker was in office,it did not viod the permits that was prev.to under 21

Thanks for your response RED396. I got mind just before Gov W. and I believe I was 18. If not 18 for state, it was 18 for town.
