Question about Western Movies

The best movie depiction of cowboy shooting that I remember was when Tuco (Eli Wallach, Good, Bad, and the Ugly) went into the General Store to get a revolver. He took out 3 Remington '62's and mixed parts from all 3 to get one gun that felt right to him. Quality control in the 1800's was not as precise as it is today. Those old firearms required a lot of shooting to hit something.

This Darby feller is mighty fine with blanks. And I sure don't want to dis on his skill because it is at least 100 times better than mine. But I still wonder how he would fare trying Jerry Miculek's speed shooting using .500 Smith and Wessons with real bullets. And anybody who has ever seen Tom Knapp or Bill Oglesby ply their trade has seen some real shooting as well.

There was a guy named Thell Reed, who taught a lot of the hollywood actors to shoot. He was pretty awesome with a SAA.
