Question about reciprocity

I think i am understanding the reciprocity chart. I live in Arkansas and have a resident Arkansas CHCL permit. Florida (or any of the yellow states) accepts my resident Arkansas permit. If I had a non-resident permit they would not. I am pretty sure that is correct but I am travelling there soon and want to make sure.

I have another question about vehicle carry. In Arkansas can I legally open carry in my vehicle or does it have to be concealed there also.

I'm sure someone who has more knowledge on the subject will chime in but as far as I know, open carry is illegal in Florida unless you're hunting or fishing.

Florida DOES recognize its own non-resident permit.

in florida the gun has to be in a retention holster or case in a compartment for vehicle carry unless it on your person with a CCW permit
