Question about NY's new gun ban

So if everyone is now limited to 7 round magazines, then aren't 99% of their police officers carrying an "illegal" firearm? Or are they exempt? And if they are exempt, thats totally unfair to the citizens of NY. The whole law is quite rediculous in any case.

Believe it or not they forgot to put that exemptiom in the law. Just think requiring 7 rd mags essentially eliminates 99 % of the all the pistols.

Perhaps...until manufacturers start making 7 round magazines for all of their pistols.

they did forget to make law endorcement exempt from the new laws but i believe a new prevision was added to make them now exempt
