Okay, wondering if anyone else has had this issue or not, and if so what their thoughts are. I have a Kahr for my carry gun, have put between 300 to 400 rounds through it so I'm beyond the break in period. Noticed that during break in it would kick the magazine out some, majority of the time it would be on the first round then be fine afterward. Has been fine lately, no problems with the magazine, but this evening went to run some hollow points through it so I could get a feel for them and it started doing it again. As my husband and I are looking at it and trying to see if we can figure things out, we realize that it seems to only be happening when I'm shooting reloads which are 124 grain bullets, and the hollowpoints which are also 124 grain. When looking at the magazine with ammo in it factory 115 seems to be further away from the catch for the magazine and the others are much closer, so we suspect the bullet is possibly bumping when trying to feed. Tried loading 115 for last part of mag, and hollowpoints for first 4 and ran flawlessly. Assuming that bullet size is my issue but just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue. Right now I'm considering loading fmj's in the bottom and hollow points first, dropping a mag in a stress situation is definitely not something I want to be worried about.
