Question about applying for Erie County, NYS Restricted Pistol Permit

Hey everybody you all seem like professional and rational people with extensive knowledge about firearms and getting permits for them. I live in Buffalo, NY in Erie County and I'm currently in the process of applying for my home and range permit. I have a question. I was arrested in June of last year in the Bronx for two misdemeanor charges and the entire case was thrown away. I have the notice of the "Decline to Prosecute" from the NYC court and I was wondering about how to answer the question on the application where it asks if you've been arrested. I know I should disclose the arrest but I don't know what to put in the "Disposition" column. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much and happy shooting!

Im assuming you haven't applyed yet. U have to bring your paperwork to the county Ppo , its located downtown on Franklin st, in the County court building. Bring what u have from NYC and explain it to one of the clerks. They are always more than willing to help out. They're open till 445 mon-Fri

I don't think you have any choice other than stating "Decline to prosecute" in the space asking for disposition unless there was a dismissal by the court, then you can state "dismissed" and give the court and date.
