Purchasing handgun 2nd degree trespass charge

I live in AL and have a 2nd degree trespass charge in NC. Was wondering if that could affect me when purchasing a handgun?

Hey Treo. Thanks for responding. This was the only forum I could find that said to post about laws/legality so sorry if I posted in the wrong place. I'm new here and seemed to have pissed everyone off for posting this. It was a conviction for misdemeanor trespass (for being at a park after certain hour and didn't see the sign saying couldn't be there after a certain time). It's nothing I spent time in jail for and def nothing that I could've served more than one year for. I've checked the laws in my state but wanted to make sure of this before i went and got another handgun.

I got a ticket for the same thing, but I definitely didn't serve jail time. My charge was only a petty misdeameanor, what the hell was he doing to do the same thing and serve jail time???

My mistake, next time use proper punctuation please. Your post made it seem like you did spend time in jail. Well, since you didn't and all you got was a petty misdemeanor, go to your Sheriffs department and ask. Best of luck to you.
