I've caught drips and drabs from the trailers on TV but it seems to be the prequel to the Alien series. Looks awesomely inviting for sci-fi fans. I got such a kick out of the original Aliens. This looks to do the same!

Agreed!

The original 'Alien' totally blew my mind when it first came out in 1979 (I was only 10 yrs old).
I have always been curious about that fossilized 'Engineer' from the first Alien movie, looks like my curiosity will be rewarded soon.

Ridley Scott is one of my all time favorite film makers and I am certain that he will not disappoint his fans.

I should mention, this is NOT "Aliens." Different feel, different look, though there are many nods. My diehard Alien-fan friends didn't like it. I did.
