New Yorkers are like sheep, they are afraid to walk in their own neighborhoods. They remind me of the Eloi from H.G. Wells book. Wiki says "They are a placid and docile race, called "human vegetables". So no, they will never demand that the Mayor allow them to arm & protect themselves. They will continue with the "I am a victim" role. I believe that is the main reason why a woman could be screaming at the top of her lungs and a witness will be to terrified to get involved. In the city, stepping on someone shoes, eye contact, or even accidently bumping into someone will get you killed, Jeeeesh!!!

Nope. I'm sorry, but she very well may be part of the 80%+ citizens of New York that are in favor of gun control. I won't matter if the gun used was illegally obtained by the criminal or not. If she is one of "those" she will hold the gun liable and not the person using the gun. It's the mentality, and it can't be changed.
