Endorses pro-gun control Rep Gary Peters for US Senate over Terry Lynn Land. No real surprise there. We need to get rid of both Heartwell AND Peters.

Heartwell has a couple more years in office; he is making gun control one of his defining issues. It may be time to put together a recall campaign to get rid of him and a couple of other city officials as well.

I will be moving into the city next fall and would love to work at getting the Mayor gone by recall . He can retire with his buddy Blumberg and maybe take a class on constitutional law. He is a popular mayor and it would be tough. I think that litigation might be the best way to get him out or at least he would be too busy to go to the mayors against guns conference.

I have been in touch with the state AG's office, and once I have compiled some more info (including a foia request), will be using my connections in the MI House of Reps to try to arrange a meeting with the AG's office.

People that are anti gun never shut up no matter how many people are carrying firearms openly. They are the loudest of the louds. The chilling effect is this moron suggesting that an armed citizen is dangerous to people speaking their minds. Nothing is further from the truth but when was the last time a liberal was worried about the truth. Automatically discharge 30 rounds in a clip...what a laughable loon this guy is.
