Better yet, lets post an article in the newspaper with all the names and addresses of those people that turned in their guns. Then the bad guys with guns will know where the easy targets are.

Would be an invasion of their privacy as guaranteed by the "anonymous" nature of said gun by-back program. Thats one of the selling features of the programs.. "its safe and anonymous" -- I would like to think they still test these guns for criminal use (ballistic matches/etc) Would be stupid of them not to do so.. but I am 50/50 on matter really.. I want to believe they test for criminal use of a gun bought in these crappy things - but the cynic in me thinks otherwise.
