Pretty Little Pony: Colt Mustang Pocketlite Review

Did they fix that weak assed ejector design? or the safety lever that doesn't extend far enough forward for a normal sized hand's thumb to hit it and rest on it, in a proper firing position.?

Unfortunately, it's been outclassed by Sig's P938...

Outclassed how?

This is identical to the P238. Exact same design. The only practical difference between 238 and 938 is caliber. I say practical because Sig did make some slight changes in scale and slide weight to make the 938 function with the larger round.

9 mm vs. .380 is a lot more significant than .4" in length and a few oz, But that's just my opinion.

the only difference being the 9mm is 3x as likely to suffice. the 380 will fail to stop about 30 men in 100 shootings, with a chest hit. With a good load, like CorBon's 100 gr powrball ammo, the 9mm fails only 10 x in 100 shootings, with a chest hit. that's 3x as good a probabilty.

I can not believe Colt brought back the Mustang instead of the Mark IV. If they upgraded the 3.25" barrel to 9mm with better sights and ambidextrous safety, it would be a winner.

Amazed anyone found one. Early this year Colt began advertising with full page glossy color ads in magazines. I wanted one BAD. No one had them...Even Colt factory didn't know when they'd every ship any. You'd think their advertising dept would talk to their production dept....got on a bunch of lists...still no one had them and still every month they'd run the full page ads. Finally found one on line NIB but at DOUBLE the price...

Finally thought it out and figured it was better to have something else. Went 9mm with the Kel Tec PF9.

Still most puzzled on why they'd advertise something for so long that they weren't making...and no distributors had in stock

Please provide cites and/or links to the sources of those numbers? I'm sincerely interested.
