How long have you had the TCP? Have you broken it in well and gotten past the first 2-300rds? When I had first gotten mine some years back it needed a few hundred rounds of break-in before it ran near perfect. FWIW, I now only carry FMJs or FMJ-FN rounds for defense... what's your choice?

FYI: I have the TCP too. Broke in after a few hundred rounds and some polishing work. For self defense, I am using Gold Dots for now, but will switch to a XTP round once I find one based on this test series: Ammo Quest | Shooting The Bull

I haven't had the TCP long. Definitely still in the break in stage. And the Sig is a virgin!

TCPs seem to vary. I have known people who had one that never did work well even after several hundred rounds, had to go to Miami for repair. Mine has always run well but I also think one should shoot them sparingly. I carry both Hornady Critical Defense and XTPs - although I carry it pretty rarely, most often as a BUG.

Friday must be a day when most like to be off and shooting. A life long friend and I went to a woods he has access to use, and spent most of the afternoon shooting and walking the 75 acre site. It was sunny and 43, no wind. What a great day.

That's awesome! It's below zero here so I have to shoot inside. Can't wait to go out and shoot at my buddy's farm when it gets warmer here!

Had a super great day Friday. Took my Browning A-5 12 Ga., My Remington 597 22LR, and of course my Ruger SR9 carry pistol. Lots-a bang-bang.
One of the best times I've had lately.
