Prayers Needed For A Brother Member

Hey Y'all,

Over the last year I have become good friends with Ringo. Some may have noticed that he hasn't been posting for more than a week now. Last week I received a PM from his wife that said he was in the hospital having major surgery for an aneurysm. He was in the hospital for eight days and came home Wednesday. I talked to him on the phone yesterday and his spirits are good, but his physical health is still very weak. His legs gave out from under him, which was one of the symptoms that sent him to the hospital, and he is still unable to stand or walk. Looks like it could be an extended rehab period.

So if it's within your belief system to offer a prayer up for him, please do. And for his wife too. They've both got a tough row to hoe for the foreseeable future. Thanks.

My idea, the things I support, is to send a single, one-dollar bill to it/them. Would this be appropriate for folks who may be in need? It might not be needed in this case but in other.

Thanks Blues,
Romans 12: 6-13 In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection,e and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.

Matthew Henry wrote: “Those that rejoice in hope, are likely to be patient in tribulation. We should not be cold in the duty of prayer, nor soon weary of it. Not only must there be kindness to friends and brethren, but Christians must not harbour anger against enemies. It is but mock love, which rests in words of kindness, while our brethren need real supplies, and it is in our power to furnish them. Be ready to entertain those who do good: as there is occasion, we must welcome strangers. Bless, and curse not. It means thorough good will; not, bless them when at prayer, and curse them at other times; but bless them always, and curse not at all. True Christian love will make us take part in the sorrows and joys of each other. Labour as much as you can to agree in the same spiritual truths; and when you come short of that, yet agree in affection.”

Our petition to God, I pray, gains favor and finds Ringo well.

Yahweh (God) is good and we will pray to Jesus Christ for Ringo's speedy recovery daily.

Just saw this post, Blues. I have been praying for his complete recovery ever since we corresponded earlier. God is able. Tell him to keep on keeping on.

Damn, I wondered where he went. Thanks for the update Blues... I'm not religious but I wish him and his family the best. Ringo and I have disagreed on some things but I'm positive he's a very good person who deserves to be well.

Heavenly Father, We ask that you continue to Bless and Keep Ringo. We know that it is by your Grace, all things are possible. Amen.

Just read your thread. My prayers and thoughts are with him and his family. Thanks for posting. Any up date on his condition and his recovery?
