Recently I was involved in a one person motorcycle accident just outside Nashville on I-24. A very kind citizen stopped and called 911 for me as I had layed my motorcycle down on it's side during a rainstorm and was not myself (4 broke ribs). Soon the Fire and Rescue showed up as well as a Nashville Policeman. I was wearing my Kel-Tec PF-9 in an IWB holster which stayed with me the whole time. I'm not sure if the officer saw the weapon or just randomly asked if I was carrying. I told him I was. He asked for the weapon to secure it, which I gave him along with my SC CWP. He followed me in the ambulance to the hospital where it was turned over to the security staff. This policeman stayed with me for probably longer than he should but I feel he was concerned about my wellbeing. He was very friendly, supportive and positive during the ordeal. I have his name on the report but don't want to put it out to the public in this forum. I do want to thank him. This was my first accident in over 40years and his kindness is something I will remember. Nashville... you have a policeman to be proud of.
Please no flames. I just wanted to say Thanks to Nashville Fire & Rescue, Southland Medical Center, the person who stopped and called 911 and the policeman who stayed with me. And no offense but I hope I never see Nashville from that angle again.
