Police Officer vs. Fire Fighter... FIGHT!

Right.......

According to the Blaze story, it sounds like the trooper was way out of line on this one. But, who is to say how accurate the story is? Maybe the firefighter was a real douche about the whole thing and had it coming. You never know.

Sounds like the cop was a real douche and hated firefighters. Could it be that this POS with a badge will write a ticket to the firetruck for running a red light or maybe an ambulance for speeding? Just crazy. I hope the judge gives the cop a good talking too.

So far, state police aren’t backing off, Allen is due in court next month, and it will be up to a judge to decide who made the right call.

i dont know... i think that says it all right there...

New York, what can I say New York, none of my money will be going there and if it were a member of my family injured the trooper would have a major problem.

Its a world of its own up there. I don't miss driving up there for one second. Gotta side with the fire cheif on this one

Well, all I can say is that the Trooper better hope his house don't catch on fire! I'm sure the fire fighters will be jonny-on-the-spot to that call. I thought those guys supposed to be on the same team? Oh crap, I'm sorry, we're talking about New York here. Please forgive me.

What you are over looking is that both the cop and the firefighter are both paid by the tax payers of Newyork and that they are paid to serve the citizens of Newyork. The cop needs to lose his job due to interfering with the firefighter while he was preforming his duty trying to save the life of the woman who was injured. In the end the cop is costing the tax payers of Newyork more money by writing a ticket that is now having tax dollars wasted. Just goes to show who the real losers are the tax payers of Newyork.

We had this problem before and the police learned, under our state law the road belongs to the FD untill we clear the scene and turn it back over to them.

Turn out?

Don't know, but the New York tax payers are the losers due to that tax money could have gone else where and been of more us to the Citizens of New York then wasted on this BS.

The winner of the pissing contest between the Police department and Fire department is of no importance to me. They both have only one duty and that is to serve the citizens. The police were let of the hook on the protect part of their slogan To protect and serve. And going by this officers actions he is not serving the citizens but the government by writing ticket to get money for the state. The officer should have waited till the fireman was done aiding the injured citizen before starting to server the state government.
