pocket guns

whats the biggest caliber in a pocket gun that they make in a double stack semi

tks for a serious response

My buddy has one and it is quite a load to shoot but man is it fun. I tried the XD40 sc in my cargo pocket but found it to be too big. I tend to pocket carry my Ruger LCP and have recently started carrying my Ruger LC9 in a smartcarry. The smartcarry might just do the trick because it conceals well and allows me to carry my 9mm over the .380.

Depends on how big your pockets are! :D. You walked into that one bud. Lol

Correct answer there but for me I don't consider any double stack semi a pocket gun. The Glock 29, XD-SC or Taurus Millennium all fit the category of supposedly sub-compacts but are still large for pocket carry to me. Even the Kel-Tec PF9 is pushing it but as you say depends on the size of your pocket and what you preferences are.

The PF9 is single stack, but the P11 is double. Haven't tried to pocket one, but based on specs it doesn't look too do-able. There was a P40 (P11 in. 40 cal) that was discontinued. BTW, I'm only presenting the info., not endorsing the Kel-Tec brand.

Like FN1910 said a double is not considered a pocket gun. Most are too bulky (especially in width, for obvious reasons.).

Agree with the pocket size comment. I have several pants o ordered from the NRA and my M&P 40 c fits like a glove in the cargo pocket. Normal pants it's my LC 9. Waiting to check out the M&P Shield 9 or 40.

I have a Glock26 9mm and there is no way that it is a pocket carry gun. I just purchased a Kahr PM9 specifically for pocket carry. They also make the same pistol in a 40 cal.

I love it, can't wait to break my buddies stones with this fact. Thank you.

I wasn't trying to be a ****, just add to what you said. I have a G29. love it, I also have a G30. but, if the OP liked the idea of the 29, the 30 is a little bit larger in caliber... same size gun. like... exactly the same size gun.

I agree with you. I have several of the sub-compact glocks, and one of the springfield XD's. I wouldn't consider any of them "pocket" guns by any means, but I guess that's all in the eyes of the carrier. The only "pocket" gun I own is an LCP... it really is a small pocket sized gun. I would love to have a S&W bodyguard, or a Ruger LCR. I need to expand my collection of revolvers

AZNRA, check your private messages.

I think an idividuals idea of a pocket pistol may be different... I consider a pocket pistol to be things like TCPs, LCPs, P3ATs, P32s, Tomcats/Bobcats, and really small pistols like that...

I don't consider the smallest Glocks to be pocket pistols... even though they may fit in a pocket...

It's also personal preference, I like really small pistols.
