Ah, that it was... I've noticed that happens a LOT around here.
With the usual caveat that IANAL: If the state recognizes your permit, or offers reciprocity with your state, then you can carry a concealed, loaded firearm in your car in that state.
Just be sure to understand whether you must inform law enforcement immediately if pulled over, and be aware of other laws if you stop for a meal, gas, lodging, etc.
It looks like all of those states honor your KY permit, so driving with a concealed, loaded handgun isn't an issue. By federal law you need to stay at least 1000' from any schools as well (even in your car) if you don't have a permit issued by the state you are visiting. Practically speaking that is very hard to do, and you won't likely know if it happens, so just do your best to avoid schools if traveling on surface streets.
